this has been me every year for the last 5 years, are we as good as we finish the year? or are we as good as we played for 23 rounds of the year? i always hope we can come good, then im left feeling empty when mid season comes around and we're very little chance if any of making finals... with the rebuild under way and finding some talent this year we might be on the right track?

Historically the AFL have stepped in with organic donation when this occurs. It's one of their equalisation measures.
