Leigh Brown has just signed up for a longterm contract.
He has turned down a 300 000 a year contract from the pies and other vic clubs.
And has made it clear he enjoys Freo and a sign that poaching freos youngersters will not be a easy task.

Pavlich and Black will sign next.

Other big news is that Wallace is taking legal preceedings aginst the doggies.Aparently they are in the red, and there is a chance he may leave straight away.

So it looks as if Freo has the best tactical coach going around for next year.
Finally were getting some luck our way.

Sorry to all your doggies supporters, I dont mean to make light of the circumstances at your club.
I respect your club and its supporters above all the other clubs in melbourne.
And Westy is this sites best poster.

Lady luck may be on our side this weekend if we get a bit of rain at Subi. If the weather reduces the game to an arm wrestle we have some chance of pulling off our first win of the season. If we can break the big donut its gunna be pretty sweet. Beside, we owe the pies for making us play all those games at Victoria Park in its later years.

I'm doing the rain dance. Maybe we can break two droughts this weekend!

Not sure about the weather being a blessing. I rained when we played the Power.. I feel that the Dockers are better in good conditions, as was the case when they put up a fight against Essendon and the 'Dogs.

I think wet conditions would definitely favour the pies, they are more used to playing in the rain.
Dockers should be hoping for fine conditions.

Damn - well now I'm hoping for a torrential downpour of biblical proportions. That should at least result in a close game.

Yeah maybe you should hope for a flood, that way you might get a draw if the game can't take place.
