Laird vs Docherty

Having a debate with a mate who is the best half back in the comp, we came down to these two. Who is the better player?

Tough poll, both are absolute rippers and I'd take either of them.
I'm saying Laird simply because he has the impact in a good side.
A fair argument is that Docherty stands up in a battling side but then they aren't anywhere near as bad as everyone said they'd be pre season.

I'd have to say Docherty.

It's very close, I don't even know why I picked Doc, but if I could one I could pick him and probably wonder if I'd made the right call for years, but be happy with how much of a gun Doc is regardless.

Docherty only cause he is better overhead at intercept marking.

Laird is fantastic though around the ground and they are very hard to separate.

Head and shoulders best 2 in the league for what they do easily.
