Hey guys,

Just a tiger supporter curious about this years draft. I would assume most of you live in wa. Just want you guys to answer a few questions about big lance. I see the west coast spotters are pretty keen on getting him i just want to know whats so good about him. I mean i have heard pretty bad things about him saying like he has attitude problems etc. But can he play at all? And what position do you see him playing in the AFL?

like all footy fans we have about as much real knowledge about him as you do. People who don't want him at a club other than their own will talk him down. Clubs who don't need him will talk him up. Like all footy players they start off with potential and whether they realise it or not is up to the gods. He has good skills for a big man and thats all you can really go on. I would like him at our club and therefor he is one sided and lacks ticker. His attitude sucks and anyone other than West Coast would be mad to take him.

I'm not worried if West Coast doesn't draft Lance Franklin. Has been less than impressive this year and extremely egotistical.

I don't reckon he would puropesly underpeform just to slip past the other clubs recruiters and stay in the West.

I've read a few posts now about Franklin & how he has tickets on himself, from what I've seen of him he hasn't come across like that at all... on a segment on TFS he was playing down becoming the next Chris Tarrant

Granted I probably haven't seen as much of him as you guys.

I think from memory he is a big lad who plays for Perth? If so, he's playing WAFL league footy (good for such a young player) and was terrible against my club, West Perth, a couple of weeks ago. Tall, looked skilful, took a couple of marks, but kicked poorly and generally didn't appear to be trying (rather like his teammates that day).

Only seen him once.

That was his only game for Perth. Been playing PSA since then and will for the rest of the season.

Not good enough for top ten this year. BUT because of the enormous upside of his natural athletic abilities he will go high this year because sides wouldn't like to miss out on him this year.
His not ready this year but will be ready to go after a full year of Colts or League Footy.
