Lance Franklin

If we take Lance Franklin with pick 4 he will have to move from WA an d a lot of people are saying that he comes from a close family and will go back at the end of his first contract.
In todays herald sun there was a article about him and he said footy is his life and will go anywhere to play AFL. He also said he has his grandparents and an uncle in Victoria and would stay with them for a while and then his parents would come down and live with him. And his dad also grew up in Victoria. So he would be a risk to take but not as much of a risk as he is made out to be.

im feeling more comfetable now with our top 2 picks. If we got Deleido and Griffin id have a party. Id not either Tambling or Franklne should be fine.

Everybody is saying that Deliudo is the number 1 prospect in this draft. Consequently, we would be mad to take Franklin with our first pick. The club needs to recruit the best players at this stage, its not as if we are trying to cover a gap here or there on the list. Every area needs more depth. We lack rotation through the midfield, quality defenders with height and body strength, and small/medium sized forwards who can regularly kick goals. As such, its going to take a couple seasons to build the team.
