Croad, Gilham, Roughead, Franklin, Renouf, Campbell. Somebody must have smashed a mirror in our 2008 celebrations, every single tall has suffered serious injury since.

Really hopeful Buddy will be right for the start of 2012. This season is cooked (realistically ended when Roughead went down), worried about the future now.

I've seen a few players suffer ACL injuries and were able to walk off the ground under their own power.

Anyone remember when woosha did his back in the 90s. he ran off the ground ha ha.

Man I hope it is just bruising for buddy. would be a fantastic outcome

do you guys think seeing buddy go down late in the game when arguably the game had slipped away really goes to show that maybe when youve got the second chance in a finals series shutting up shop and avoiding injuries for the next week is actually a viable option? hindsight is a wonderful thing though. hope the bigfellas ok

Buddy's knee is fine - no structural damage. A press conference at 12 will officially confirm this.

Good news. He won't play again this year but worst case scenario had him missing out all of next year. Having players like him out for that long hurts all fans, not just Hawthorn's. I'm glad he'll be ok

Good shit! Would have been horrible if two players ended up with knee reco's in one game.

I agree , alah Dempsey and Winderlich both in round 4

He won't play. Gilham missed half a season with bone bruising couple years back. Usually 4 weeks minimum. Buddy generally recovers well but can't see him playing again this year, definitely not this week.
