Adelaide just got pwnt up the bumhole. 3 of the first lineup bands skipping on a very small first lineup? Ouch.

I'll probably go but not totally convinced by the first lineup.

I probably won't go to the festival, will just look out to see if Echo and the Bunnymen do a side show.

Seen them a couple of times and they have always been good.

Why even bother having the festival in Adelaide if 3 of the main acts are not going to play here?? Three of the ones from that list I would like to see as well.

Probably won't go to this but certainly my type of line-up.

5 bands that I'd love to see Florence, The XX, Wild Beasts, Mumford, The Very Best. Pity that 2 of those 5 aren't coming to Adelaide.

Top line up. The xx are unbelievable. Anyone who doesn't know them needs to check them out. Their album is one of the best of the year. Mumford and Sons, Florence and The Machine, The Very Best, Radioclit and the Black Lips will all be sweet too.

I heard it is at Footscray though. Not sure any line-up could get me to venture out to Footscray.

Decent line-up. Dirty Three, Black Lips and Echo & The Bunnymen are all great. Few others there I wouldn't mind checking out.

Although they were only rumors, I'm disappointed by the lack of HEALTH and YLT. Hope they're in the second announcement or something.

Yeah I support the love of The XX. Saw them live at Offset Festival in London a month ago and they were fantastic. Perfect band for this type of festival. If you love the album you will like them more after seeing them live. Their very laid back style really does complement their sound.

Bit disappointed for my mates that Wild Beasts aren't doing Adelaide. Saw them at the same festival and they are a great live band.

The radio show I co-host will be doing a Laneway special on Sunday night/Monday morning. 12-3am Monday(Adelaide time). The Sound & The Fury. Will be playing songs by all artists playing Laneway, mixed with a take on current affairs and issues.
