Now let me get this straight. For much of 2010 there have been some posters suggesting that the only reason Lappin was an assistant coach at Carlton was because he was mates with the coach. Generally our assistant coaches were crap & should have been gotten rid of.

Now that Montgomery & Lappin have taken positions at other clubs, some are now suggesting that we have erred in letting them go. In the meantime we have appointed 2 experienced assistant coaches, who would seem to have an impressive record in player development, which is exactly what we need. God I'm confused.

I guess it's great that we have landed some very experienced assistant coaches for season 2011, but I liked what our old assistants did with our roster. It's a shame to see them go. Oh well, best of luck to Matty Lappin in his new role.
