- Hes Just not that into you
- Baby Mama
- Confessions of a Shopaholic
- Definitely Maybe
- Bride Wars.
I sincerely hope your boyfriend didn't have to endure any of those (although Baby Mama isn't too bad).
Shutter Island
Beautiful looking film, quality story, good acting and superb directing.
The 'big twist' was well done, and came as a huge surprise (despite this, no doubt many couldn't wait to rush home so they could tell the internet world that they're so smart because they picked the twist within 10 minutes

).
Scorsese has a real knack for making the audience care for his characters and that is again the case with the lead character, Teddy Daniels.
The Bank Job
Generally i don't tend to see 'action thrillers' but i love British cinema and heard this was quite an intelligent film, something unusual in it's genre.
I really enjoyed it.
It was thrilling, suspenseful and interesting and it achieved all that without needing to throw in gratuitous violence, guns and car chases like so many 'action thrillers' feel the need to do.
Oh and the dude that played 'Dave Shilling' could have easily been mistaken for a 2010 Jimmy Bartel, haircut and all.
