Cloke was only a late withdrawral today, as he went to the ground in his bullants gear,
if he was gonna be a late change tomorrow would he not have already flown over or known earlier that just this afternoon??
im not saying the op is wrong, im just wondering why cloke would have only just found out then...
Bad luck for Hammer, really have enjoyed watching him play this year, hope its only for a week,

Disappointing, but Cloke deserves a chance to prove himself at AFL level after some good performances in the 2's. I'm not a huge fan of his rucking ability but that's where he'll be played backing up Kruezer. Hopefully he'll spend some time up forward and show the form that he has shown in the Bullants.

Cams old man should get in his ear and tell him to belt the hell out of them dont shirk a contest run as hard as you can and mark all that comes his way. Thats what david did.

In: Cloke
Out: Hampson

can confirm that Cam Cloke will come in for Shaun Hampson for Sunday's game against Port Adelaide at AAMI

You've never been wrong Ricksta, so thanks for the early mail.:thumbsu:

Cloke:thumbsd:..............oh well

Cant wait till Warnock and Jacobs are up and firing

I think Hampson will play.

Carlton always take an emergency with them for interstate games.

Hampson has been in doubt with a few injuries this year and been part of the rehab group on Monday, but always come up for games.

If I'm wrong, I'll just delete my post and say anyone who has quoted me is a liar.
On the Port board they're saying Hartlett and Surjan are in doubt
Port fans better get used to the combination of Hartlett and surgeon in the one sentence.

The mods can see it and recover it. ;) :p

Ottens looms large for Cats
But Carlton ruckman Cameron Cloke's season is in doubt after he received a hamstring injury during a training session on Friday night, having been named as an emergency for today's clash against Port Adelaide at AAMI Stadium.
Blues onballer Chris Yarran collected 11 disposals in the first half yesterday, then left for the airport to fly to Adelaide as an emergency and could be a late replacement today.

I heard from someone who works within the Bullants that the reason why Cloke didn't play yesterday is because he was sore in the hamstring region.

This was backed up when I saw Cloke standing in the race (talking to some of the other players before the game), he was bending the lower half (from his knee down) backwards (up towards his bum, & feeling the top part of his hammy with his hand & giving it a rub.
I saw this & tapped my hubby on the shoulders & said to him....if he is sore.... I don't think he will come into the side as an emergency.

who knows though...just informing you on what I was told & what I saw.

I think everyone (including myself) are over-reacting here but one change shouldn't determine whether or not we win this game. However, if Port bring their A+ game with their experienced stars such as the Cornes and the Burgoynes performing we'll most likely lose anyway.

Considering he does not often bend over to get the ball in the game I don't think this would hamper him;)

Hopefully Hammer does come up because having him out will upset our ruck department, particularly if the replacement is Yarran and not Cloke.

That will mean Kreuz will have to ruck all day against the more experienced Lade and Brogan, with Carlos probably having a go as well.

This is not good for us.
