I think she will be a superstar. Bigger in her game than Jordan was in his. Perhaps not as big as Tiger is but pretty close.

I think Lauren Jackson will be a superstar over there and i was a Phoenix Mercury fan because Michelle Timms played for them but now i think Timms has retired??

Kristen Veal was picked up by Phoenix, and I think she's just as good as Jacko. But it's a shame that the Stockton/Malone combination of the WNBL has been split. I loved watching them play together with the Caps.

Also Timmsy hasn't retired. I believe she has a season or two remaining in her contract. She has retired from International duties and from playing in the WNBL, mainly because she reckons she looks dreadful in the bodysuits.

As for Jackson. As strong as the WNBA is, she will take Seattle to the top of the league. While it may be difficult for her to repeat her acheivements with the Capitals, she will blow them away.

Go Caps in 2001/02.

Devo - yeah good call. I just read it in the paper about Veal being picked up by Phoenix. I like Veal, she kicks ass and it should be good to see her and Timms creating havoc in Phoenix. So now im a Storm and Mercury fan

Actually the first game for the Storm this season will be agianst the Mercury. It should be a very interesting game with Jackson up against Timms, Cleary, Brogan, Fallan, Veal and Assistant Coach Graf. Jacko will almost feel she's up agianst the Opals.

I'll be watching the performances of these two clubs and the Detroit Shock with a great deal of interest. The Shock have Sporn, Boyd and Kingi on their roster.
