OK....completely updated leaderboard after 3 rounds...

Leaderboard

1. 174 - Troy Wilson
2. 122 - Glen Jakovich
3. 110 - Micheal Gardiner
4. 99 - Chad Fletcher
5. 76 - Chris Judd
6. 59 - Andrew Williams
7. 54 - Ben Cousins
8. 49 - Micheal Collica
9. 48 - Travis Gaspar
10. 46 - Andrew Embly
11. 26 - Michael Braun
12. 22 - Darren Glass
13. 12 - Phillip Matera
13. 12 - Rowan Jones
15. 8 - Callum Chambers
16. 6 - David Wirrpunda
17. 5 - Peter Matera
18. 4 - Richard Taylor
18. 4 - Daniel Kerr
20. 2 - Adam Hunter
21. 1 - Ashley McIntosh

Big Movers - The huge mover this week is Jakovich after his unanimous BOG performance against the Dogs. He has moved from 9th to 2nd. Williams has continued his consistency and moved from 8th up into 6th and Gaspar is the other obvious big mover. From no show to 9th with 48 votes.

Big Losers - Fletcher for the second game in a row doesnt poll a vote and his steady climb backwards from 1st after round 1, back to 4th after 3 rounds. Collica and Embly also recieved no votes and dropped back from 5th and 6th to 8th and 9th respectively.

New Entries - 4 new entries this week. Gaspar exploded onto the leaders board with a solid performance against the Bulldogs, he sits in 9th. Daniel Kerr picked up 4 votes to move into a tie for 18th and David Wirrpunda finally picked up his first votes of the year. He got 6 and sits in 16th spot. Hunter is the last of the new entries with 2 votes.

Jod's Comments - The brownlow tends to ignore goal kicking forwards, not so amongst Eagle fans as Wilson has a commanding lead after 3. Gardiner has polled well in all three games and looks to be the main challenger at this early stage. The big surprise is probably Williams who is polling well amongst fans......still no charge from Cousins.

I think I will place my votes after I watch the replay on the TV. I posted them after the match and watched the replay and wished i changed my votes. Where we were sitting, it was a bit hard to see up the ground and what i saw on TV was better than at the game.......

Good to see a FF up there.... Willow is doing good....

Go Jak!!!!:)

Interesting to read the Footballer of the Year results to date in today's West, by way of comparison (eliminating the anchored ones):

WCE v Bulldogs: Gardiner 8, Jakovich 8, Gaspar 7

Cumulative:

15 Gardiner
8 Jakovich, Fletcher
7 Gaspar, Cousins, Embley, Wilson, Judd

Not on a 5-1 system like ours, but interesting nonetheless.

Are people actually reading my leaderboard or is it in vain??

I for one am happy with the work you have done Jod. I think this is a great idea and its interesting to watch the players move about the list. Gives us a gauge on how they do week in and week out.....

Keep up the good work legend......

I agree

I agrre with the two previous emails.

I think the 5-1 system offers more scope for some real contributors to be noticed.

Keep it up please.

I am having major internet problems at the moment, am doing this at school, but here arer my votes

5. Jako
4. Gaspar
3. Judd
2. Collica
1. Cous

Don't know how long it will be till i am back on again

OK thanks guys...its just the last 2 leaderboards i made nobody said a thing. I will keep up the good work as you guys put it :)

EKA will just add your votes to the leaderboard.

Cheers everyone.

Oh and any early picks for the eventual winner? Wilson looks really good right now and Gardiner has been very consistent. Will Cousins start his charge soon?

he damn well better!!! i dont know about everyone else here but the sight of an Eagles ratings system (and there are many around and Jod and Buzz do it the best) that DOESNT have Cuz on top scares the hell out of me. I'm delighted that the other players have stepped up, and Gardy (my personal fave person in the world) has been fantastic but i want Cuz to be the best. I'm used to it.:(

Yes i must agree....its almost an episode of the Twilight Zone....Cousins not on top?? What the? :D

Im sure he will make his charge but im not sure how you guys will vote on him. If he continues to kick a goal a game and ups his disposal rates to 30+ will we reward him with BOG votes or are we used to it and give votes to others??

It is a change not to see Cousins at the head of the charts, but it is also a reflection on the others in the team that he is not noticed as much.
While I consider that he is still doing the same amount of work, it shows that he isn't the only one doing all the work on the ground at the moment and I am sure that he is happy that most of the players have the same dedication as he has.
