Ps, leadership group makes a lot of sense.

Two young leaders up front. Three really experienced guys to support them.

There's no rush for additional younger guys like Plowman Marchbank, Weitering, Walsh etc. They'll get their opportunities after Simmo, Murph and Ed move on.

Actually happy with this for the first time in a few years, honestly the last couple of years we had players in the leadership group that even if fit would struggle to make the best 22. I know they may do a lot behind closed doors but your leaders should at least be best 22.

Yep - lost a lot when Armfield retired :)

"Newly appointed co-captains Sam Docherty and Patrick Cripps will be supported by experienced senior players Marc Murphy, Ed Curnow and Kade Simpson."

I would've chosen Patrick Cripps only as Captain, perhaps a Vice-Captain, never liked the idea of a group of leaders.
Notwithstanding all favourites selected and it’s a fresh start, very exciting.

Great Co-Captains and I understand the senior players, although I would have preferred at least 1 or 2 other younger players being included
I know what you mean but which ones though? No really obvious candidates for mine, perhaps Plowman and Charlie Curnow but I think it's going to take another year or two for the next generation of leaders to start to announce themselves.

Happy enough with this setup.

I must have a short memory thinking Simmo hasn't been I the leadership group before.
That got shut down pretty quickly and was re-informed he used to vice captain.
Had a feeling he wasn't really into the leadership thing
Anyway it's great to have him in the group.
Simmo has always been a leader on the field with the way he has no regard for his own safety and always put the team first.
