I really want Moondog in the leadership group. It might calm him down just a little, but not enough to subdue or change the spirit we all know and love him for. His passion was unparalleled in 2005 - let's hope it continues to grow.

I hear that king and ling were the 2 senior players at tonights AGM, and for mine King would not be say vice captain, it's either captain or nothing. so for me it looks to be

Captain King and Vice Captain Ling.... but make of that what you will.

if King has been named in the official leadership group than surely that means he'll be renamed captain. It'd be a slap in the face to not only be stripped of the captaincy but to also be named the deputy of your former vice captain!!

It's a real slap in the face when even your own clubs under-rates you.

Gerard Healy seems to be in the only one in the football world to rate this man. Every year, Gerard has has him in his All Australian team.

Dasher is a sensational player and it's about time his gets the recognition he deserves for the hard things he does for the team. Maybe it is his mouthing off that has seen him left out of the leadship group.

With saying the above, very glad to see MOOOOONNNS in there.

Highly doubt he wouldnt have wanted it as he isnt a media shy person and i don't think he would have knocked it back because of extra pressure, he seems like a guy who would love it.

Damn shame, what the hell is going on down at the GFC? I would have had Dasher above Chappers for a leader. And i want Chappers as a leader so there ya go!

I agree with AA, extremly unlucky. Buty to show my support i am getting Dasher's number for my GFC top next year!

Actually Dasher is a media shy person... Perhaps not to the extent of Scarlett or N. Ablett but Dasher has said before that he doesn't like doing media interviews and the like. Either way Milburn is still a leader at the club regardless of whether he's in the official leadership group, much in the same way Ricco is a leader as a result of his experience... so lets not lynch the coaching staff just yet!!

Dasher is one of my favourite players.... just not a happy person at this point in time! But ohwell, even though it wont be dasher, i still cant wait to see King/Ling holding the premiership cup!
