Im never sure what Leadership Groups are supposed to be for.

They should be on-field leaders - but as soon as the AFL look at restricting runners (so they are not on the field coaching 100% of the time), we hear cries from the coaching staff that they need to communicate with the players.

Well - get stuffed. Teach the players the game plan - teach them option A, B, and C. Get the on-field leaders to call out changes when they see fit. The coaches get 5 minutes at 1/4 and 3/4 time and 10 minutes at half-time.

It seems all Leadership Groups do is sit solemnly in judgement on a player who sleeps through his alarm clock on a Sunday morning.

depends on the group i guess

from the distant outside I think have a skipper and vice and the leaders dont need a title, they naturally emerge

i am sure there is plenty they do that is worthwhile though

i dont like the multiple skippers we seem obsessed with having
