Error404 kicked some geat goals on the Port Board tonight but his unduly rough play has lead to his suspension which could hurt his chances of taking out the medal. :)

Yeah Pavlich for me too. We are seriously ********ed if either Medhurst or Farmer lead the goalkickin.....again

Freo's squad appears quite strong except for good tall marking forwards. Do you guys think the amount you 'spent' on getting Josh could have been better used on getting a good forward or even someone with the potential of Damon WHITE (much cheaper) who looks to have the goods?

In 2003 we picked up Murphy (12), Mundy (19) and Campbell (27) in the Top 30 and Johnson in the PSD. We have plenty of young talls. We could afford to spend big on JC in 2004 without compromising the depth or development of our up and coming young guys.

The charge of unduly rough play was dropped in favour of "Typing under the influence"
Placed on a 3 months good behaviour bond and suspended from the rock apes board for a week.

Good to see you are remorseful

P.S. Do you ever wonder what life would be like if you'd had enough oxygen at birth?

If Polly plays FF he should be able to post a good figure, but I have given my vote to Jeffrey in the hope that I can see him raising his arms to the heavens 100 times in 2005!

Just think of error as our own proudhagWA.

Remorseful??? Remorseful??? What for???
You rock apes just don't get it do you. It's OK for you clowns to come here throwing stones but when some one returns fire, you squeal like pigs.

Go drag your knuckles else where!!!

Please don't associate me with fuglywa

error, apparently the hag isn't coming back to the Freo boards, and the majority of other Power posters are posting on topic without trying to ******** stir (but it would be good if stopped trying to defend the hag).

So, best to let it go and not turn every thread into an issue with Port Power.

To be honest i don't know, but for the sake of this thread i will say Medhurst.
He might sneek under the radar of some teams next year.
Pavlich will take a key back, easying the presure on medhurst

I would love to say Pavlich.
If it were him his move to CHF would be a success and out forward thrusts would have a regular structure. This regular structure is important for team and crumber dynamics.

But in reality i voted medhurst, sure its good if he does it but it means our regular forrays inside 50 are haphazard or without structure.

Hard to go past Medhurst given his record. Especially if he can go back to drawing the 2nd or 3rd best defender. One would Pav would draw the best defender which will mean he should be a 40 goal a year forward. If both Medhust and Pavlich can kick 50 a piece we should be top 4.

I think the only player on our list who you could guarantee 50+ goals from 22 games is McPharlin but he looks destined to remain at CHB, so I'll say Pav.

The only quality key forwards traded and proven to be successful at their new club in recent times have been Gehrig and Barry Hall, and both of those were a gamble at the time because of their on and off field problems. Carey, Croad and Rawlings have all been picked up by clubs as key forwards in recent times and failed to deliver. Bringing Ottens or Thompson to Freo would have cost a fortune, both at the trade table and in the salary cap and neither of those players have the goal kicking consistency or the physical presence we need from a key forward. Damon White looks good but no better than Pavlich, Polak, McPharlin, JLo or Murphy as raw key forwards.

Surely were not starting to believe the talk claiming pavlich cant take conteted marks....I still have faith he will be a gun forward this coming season, I am happy if Polak can contribute and improve without staring, and I expect longmuir to contribute when he rests up forward.
With hopefully medhurst being a little more disciplined.

Why are there so many options to choose from? Surely there are only 3 or 4 players that are a realistic chance of leading our goalkicking next year.

If all this talk of Pavlich playing a key forward role eventuates, you'd have to say it would be pretty disappointing if he doesn't head the goal kicking list come the end of the year.
