League Cup 2019/20

If it's about money then they should just give way more prize money for advancing through the FA cup rounds. Raise the profile of that cup and make it way more important than it is at the moment.
To get rid of it is stupid, it hasn't been going for nearly as long as the FA Cup, but it still has a 60 year history and is an important and celebrated trophy for all those who aren't named Arsene Wenger.

I still think there is a bit of a dilution in recent times with all these cup comps, especially with U21s teams being in the EFL Trophy now too.

The EFL Trophy is something totally different, it was a great little competition for the lower football leagues (League One and Two) that gave the clubs extra avenues to boost their revenue, especially if they are eliminated from the two primary cups before the big clubs join, and at the end of the comp there is a game at Wembley which is always a big thing for the supporters. It has been totally ruined by addition of the U21 teams and supporters from the lower league clubs are boycotting the competition in droves and is now costing the smaller teams money. The need to remove the U21 teams as soon as possible as it's fast tracking the demise of a number of smaller clubs.

Only 3 League 2 teams left.

Very surprised we (Leicester) fielded basically our strongest 11 (Morgan/Fuchs aside). Hopefully some of the 2nds at least get a run against Luton.
Even your best wont save you at kenilworth Road ha ha ha ha... Only joking, Leicester are strong this year I hope you guys play James Justin as he is a very fast attacking fullback

Just a reminder, some league cup games are on BEINSports. If you have Foxtel, you can link your account on this site to access extra channels.

DCL scored 2 - Championship side so expected for the crab ;) Had a chance with a free header to score 3 and put it straight down the throat of the keeper.. now that is standard DCL. I'm not excited however at the fact that Sheff Wed had more shots on goal than us. We just don't seem to be able to step on the gas and it's getting worrying with no midfield creativity. Almost like Zidane's 5-0-5 we have a 6-0-4.
