I'd probably have started a thread earlier but couldn't come up with a snappy title. Still haven't but looking to do this to post and keep track of my NBA plays. :thumbsu:

Going to have 1u and 0.5u plays for NBA - 1u meaning a team I think will win that are overs, 0.5u being a team I think should be underdogs but still overs

13 November (US time):

1u Charlotte d Washington @ $1.83 (Sportsbet)
1u San Antonio d LA Lakers @ $1.91 (Centrebet)
0.5u Toronto d Indiana @ $5.00 (Centrebet)

Relatively new to NBA betting so any constructive feedback is welcomed

Toronto coming off a triple overtime vs. Jazz might struggle.

Personally love NBA betting because you don't have to try to get too clever you can just create good odds by multi-ing a few 1.30 - 1.80 faves together that you like.

I generally stay away from line betting for a month or so until I get a feel for it because I'm conditioned to AFL sports betting and -5.5 looks awesome when it's not.

Bit worried about Toronto running it out after last night so taken Indiana +1.5 @ $2 at half time for 0.5u

EDIT: Actually, given this is a tips thread, not sure if I should count the result of this bet (no matter what it is) in my running total. Obviously impacts my own bankroll but purely as a tips thread, I'm thinking I should only count the bets placed pre-play and in-play bets are for my own benefit only. What does everyone think?

If it's posted, it's counted.

But I'll have my eye on you, don't want you trying to mislead the betting public.

Potential bets on Golden State/Minnesota & Atlanta/Sacramento to come

Considering Pheonix are very unlikely to beat LA. Out of interest, do you place the same amount on Pheonix as you do say Dallas? :)
