Wait, really? Thats an amazing stat. Didnt notice that difference when watching the game, thats a positive to take out as its an easy fix once we get our better stoppage players back in the side. Decent conversion rate at just over 2 entries per goal. Only lost by a few goals with less than half the inside 50s.

Not really surprising. They were very reliant on their defence and pressure to win them the ball back and it didn't work as well as it usually did. Would back them against Port Adelaide with Prestia and Cotchin in the midfield and Nankervis in there.

Shows that Port's midfield and attack were elite, but their defense was pretty poor.

They'd want to fix that up for when they go up against a full strength Tigers outfit, or any other teams in contention

So Hardwick and Richmond have just done exactly what sydney did to them a few weeks ago. Get smashed in territory and then just flood the backline to prevent port from and scoring

Agree. Port to their credit absolutely dominated the clearances. Their mids were just too good. Boak, Wines and Rockliff were a class above Bolton, Ross and Pickett. Their supporting acts around these players were also superior to ours. They were the reason they won, and to be fair, it shouldn’t never been that close for us to have a sniff at the start of the last.

Nankervis, Prestia, Cotchin, Edwards would be our choice starting four in the middle.
