I just dont get it, everyone here says about Gary Ayres being the problem, i think hes a top coach and our players need to grow up.

Our players neevr chased, never showed guts and determination, and i still think the club still has A PREMEIRSHIP hangover.

You ave to get things, and games wont just be given to you (apart from playing St.kilda!)

Next year we have to grow up, or i see another dissapointing season for the mighty crows next year!

Your absolutely right - You should give him a go, five years I hope! And at the end of the day, you too, just might be lucky enough to see the semi at the end of the tunnel. :lol

Agreed, let him ruin them like he did us.

The fact is Ayres took Geelong from grand Finalists to also rans in the space of 3 years.

The Crows have a premiership team, that he took over, 1999 was the hangover, 2000 should have been the start of something new, it wasn't. He isn't any good and doesn't develop young players.

You'll see the light by round 11 next season though.

I like the Crows as much as any South Australian but I think Ayres is our one major problem. I understand that the Crows' players need to put in a much better effort but Ayres needs to do the right thing by the players more often. Many times last year he put our best players in the wrong positions and he also stuffed up the confidence of Burton by playing him off and on the bench, before dropping him to the SANFL. Remember when he didn't play Jarman for key stretches in the Essendon game last year. Two words- BAD COACHING. I'm hoping, desperately, that he proves me wrong but....I don't have much confidence that he will.
