If Cox is in doubt I would have thought we'd have Lynch do a bit of rucking and bring in McInnes.

Probably given how close McInnes has been the last month, but McGovern;'s WAFL form has been just as good and he gives another ruck option unlike McInnes. Can't hurt to leave the option open.

Best to avoid comparisons, sure he has leap on him but he's got a very different body shape, won't have as many issues with bulking up like Cameron will.

Not convinced it would be Dick getting the elevation, Hulk dominated him on he weekend.

We didn't have a rookie ready to be elevated, so there was no point.

Because we didn't intend promoting a player plus we need to do it six weeks before the seasons end ( I think )

Sounds like we will promote some-one for the remainder of the season ,... my guess McGovern as Kennedy is hovering at 30-4 weeks constantly .

I'd be surprised if Dick is coming in, and you'd think they give Cox until Thursday to provide his fitness, and we'd upgrade McGovern then. Unless you have to do it a few days earlier.

If this was the case wouldn't we also put Nicoski on the LTI? or can we only have one at a time?

We can upgrade a second rookie under the free midseason upgrade rule so we've now got room for both McGovern and Dick. None of Papertalk, Mascoulis, Hamp and Tunbridge are any chance of a game this season so we don't need to shift Nicoski to create a third spot.
