Carney would absolutely star in League One. Not interested at all in Smith, Healy or Hendrie.

The Healy rumour staggers me? Why would he drop two divisions?

Smith - No. Never rated him when he was here and after how he left he can stay away.

Mifsud - Would be very handy at this level. Most realistic of the rumours.

Carney - Never liked him but would star in League 1.

Hendrie - Always liked him as a player. Would add some bite to our midfield.

beckford to sheff utd for 1.5 mil and billy sharp is doing the rounds..would be the best of a whole lot of bad deals i reckon..although i rate billy sharp very highly

Kind of sad to see guys like Frazer and Douglas just be moved on all of a sudden, barely any players who have been around more than a season or two now.

No idea what Crowe is like, but if you believe wikipedia we gave up a packet of pork scratchings for him so he can't be too bad. Also, a trip to Darlinton for the league cup, we seem to play them a fair bit.

We were looking at Crowe as a replacement to our POY right back who is stalling on signing a new contract.

From all accounts Crowe is decent enough at this level and was one of Northampton's better players last season.

There's also a rumour going around that Leeds may be interested in Glenn Murray of Brighton.

His missus is a northern bint so she wants to move back up that way so Murray has handed in a transfer request.

Cost us 300k not long back and can score a goal, but is a bit injury prone.

Capable of doing a good job in League One at the least.

He just said Murray wants to move back up north with Leeds and I think it was Carlisle looking at him.

Was just along the lines on Leeds looking at him as a potential replacement for Beckford.

No major news to report on the transfer front yet.

Peter Sweeney has left after a mutual agreement to cancel his contract. Not many tears will be shed over that.

Another more low key signing, goalkeeper Shane Higgs from Cheltenham. Not so inspiring picking up the goalkeeper of last year's bottom team but at least now there's someone with experience to make Casper earn his spot.

sheff utd have just splashed a lot of cash on 3 attacking players im pretty sure, Tommy Smith being one of them.

Beckford wont be going to the blunts it would seem, although maybe we will pick up Billy Sharp regardless.

Centre back, a winger, two more strikers would do nicely

He's only 16 so im guessing he's either never played first team or at max a handfull of games, but apparently his transfer is going to a tribunal as a fee couldnt be agreed... anyhoo I heard he's highly rated (as so many Leeds academy grads are) and wondering if you lads had ay more info? cheers

Geez I'd love to have Delph- seen glimpes of him and he's class. If we dont sign him this year there'll be some serious competition next year.

The Leeds youth academy would have to be the best in the UK by a mile. The amount of class that's gone through there is ridiculous. I rate Evertons highly too, probably second. West Ham back in the day was awesome too. But Leeds seem to have a factory producing footballers left right and centre!

Read about that facebook thing wat a pissa! Probably the first time a transfer was announced via facebook! Next thing Ribery will announce a move to Scum Madrid via twitter!

Kilkenny said he's staying (won't be Leeds wothout at least 1 aussie in the team ), Richardson's gone to Charlton and Beckford (linked with the toon) and Delph are going.

Should get a bit from those sales and all we need is a replacement striker, cm and rb. shouldn't be too hard to get some quality with the cash we'd splash around.

sure beckford's a big loss but he and delph were never going to stay and i'd rather sell him than lose him for free in a year.
