Legacy Esports results and news #LGCWIN

This thread is for news and results of our eSports teams, not for discussion of whether it is a good investment or not.

Next week is Rift Rivals for the flagship LOL team, with 3 Oceania teams combining against SE Asia and Japan. Because Legacy finished 3rd last split, they qualify as the 3rd team from th OPL region. what night is selection night? Can we have a selection thread?
They have a pretty set first 5. Previous veterans Carbon and MinkyWhale are subs, but wouldn't usually play.

How does that work?
Representative matches. Dire Wolves are the top team in the Oceania league. Next week 3 teams will be representing Oceania in an international team based tournament. The 3 OPL teams will play as their individual teams, but results will tally to Oceania in the overall comp. It's called 'Rift Rivals' and some good Asian teams are involved.

Amazing game in the Rift Rivals GF, with Legacy beating
Acension Gaming in a thriller, after the most unbelievable performance from captain Claire. Check the highlights of him going 1 vs 4, then stealing a drake and finishing off the game.
Chiefs win twice and Oceania win 3-1, for their first ever win (team or region) at an international tournament. #OCEWIN

Actually we beat Ascension, SEA's first seed team. Mineski are their third seed team, who beat our first seed team Dire Wolves in the previous game. Absolutely carried by Claire though, when we almost dropped the game after being so far in front.

I still like my video games and I used to be pretty handy at online shooters before eSports was a thing in Australia, but I have no idea wtf is going on in LOL haha.

Other Legacy -related news is about ex-ADC Lawrence "Lost" Hui, who was dominant in 2017 and offered a chance with Tally (also from Legacy) to attend a boot camp with North American team Echo Fox. Lost was offered a spot with their academy team and played well in the first split this year. He almost led Echo Fox Academy to an unlikely competition win. Echo Fox have now released their starting ADC and promoted Lost, making him the first Oceania player to play in the NA league!
