Just seen it hasnt been officially renewed for season 8. So that may be the end of the show. Surely they can give them a wrap up season.

I can't see it not getting renewed for another season. I do think it has 2 seasons max before it runs out of steam. Give them a 10-15 episode 8th season to wrap it up and call it a day.

I thought that a shortened 13 episode season with an endgame in sight would give 'The Flash' a huge lift. 3 eps in and that isn't the case so far.

Absolutely loved the early Arrowverse Seasons (Flash/First 3 seasons of Legends/Arrow), but post Crisis it's been a absolutely terrible. I gave up then, and watched ep 1 & 4 of Season 9 and can't.
Apparently Amell is coming back for a cameo that and the finale will do me.
Just amazing considering how early days Arrow to where the rest of the Arrowverse went.
Had a lot of angst for Gunn about Cavill, but I'm kinda looking forward to refreshed DC despite being a hamfisted reboot.
