What do you describe Izak Rankine as?
In a league of his own.
Clearly i meant of the rest of the pack. Initially it was a question from a Freo fan who wanted a small forward at 14.

Caldwell ahead of MKing?
I haven't seen anywhere near enough of Caldwell to comment, although surprised to see him rated higher than MK.
McLennan @ 38? I liked what I saw of him. Feel he could be the real surprise from this draft.
He's not flashy, nor has too many tricks but just seems to know football.

King twins both test sub 3 seconds over 20m so they have Lukosius covered for speed, endurance I feel is the main thing that helps Lukosius with separation although Lukosius isn’t slow by any means. The Kings are athletic freaks, tall and smart and I think injury would be the only thing stopping them from being stars.I am becoming gun shy with regards to tall forwards. Patton, Boyd, Schache, McCartin, Wright..... They're all those tall forwards that don't feel like top 5 picks with some hindsight. Just trying to work out how King will break away from those names and prove that he is worth it?
I'm just putting midfielders ahead of those talls at the moment. Lukosius is a different beast, he is mobile, amazing kick and gets separation constantly from his opponent. I feel like the King boys maybe get away with dominating due to skill but also height.

Hipwood I feel would have looked far better with a better side as will Tom Lynch now that he is at Richmond. Finding what the gun forwards possess and what the poor ones don’t have is what makes the Kings and Lukosius so highly regarded, they are talented but also athletic. Players like Munn and Garoni would have gone higher a few years ago but if your slow and not mobile enough you get found out in the modern game. The King twins will be an interesting test case with regards to talls coming into the draft. I remember Hipwood was quick (sub 3seconds) and atheletic beast as well, he has yet to stamp himself. Then you have JD and I would take him pick 1 every day of the week.
Really hard to know how to rate those ~2m tall players.

With Lynch tried to mean better at a better club, good reason he is getting paid the big bucks.Tom Lynch is one of the best talls I've seen for a long time, so he still showed his ability even at the Suns.
It will be interesting to watch the development of the Kings.
As for McLennan, I am not a massive fan of him, just not sure what sets him apart and where he will play at AFL level?
