Not a bad start to the career for our boy Leo, after coming on as the medical sub to replace a hamstrung Nick Coffield. He looked immediately comfortable against the reigning premiers, racking up some junk time possessions and using the ball efficiently by foot. His first possession may have been a clanger but his speed and dash was there for all to see. And hopefully we get to see more of it in season 2021.

Congratulations Leo on your St Kilda debut. I can't wait to watch the next 100!

Looked like he wasn’t 100 percent effective in his defensive efforts but his run and carry and kicking is a weapon. Might be a bit over enthusiastic carrying the ball but experience will temper that and sharpen up his offensive game.

It’s pretty clear that 1 full game into his career his teammates trust him to move the ball forward. And that speaks volumes.

I hope he continues to get games.

10 possessions, 3 marks and a goal. Disposal efficiency at 90%. Leo is setting some nice foundations for a wonderful career.

Saints confirm list changes

St Kilda Football Club has today informed Jack Bytel, Leo Connolly, Jack Peris and Oscar Adams they will not be offered contracts for the 2024 season.
