...and share a cup of tea and scones with him...FFS
I wouldn't imagine anyone except Lions people were in the rooms at half time. It was also reported the incident occurred in the 'coaches room', whatever that is. I assume it to be a room away from the main area and away from where other people would be able to see.I don't get that at all. Maybe it was but how do we know that?
This was at a NEAFL game. There are kids from other clubs in there just for starters, and who knows who else might be invited into the rooms at half time.
Is it so strict at that level that only players and staff are allowed in? You could possibly even see in enough through the doorway. I don't know, I haven't been to the change rooms at Metricon.
I'd suggest that the only thing that is certain, is that nothing is certain.
Old people of low intelligence don't like young people who think differently to them.

Do you have a job? If so, I suggest you read this: http://workingsafe.com.au/workplace-violence/
So far today you've implied that people don't agree with you because:
a. they're old ; and/or
b. they are 'of low intelligence'
c. they may not have a job.
Perhaps see: Dunning-Kruger effect.
I didn't suggest that he doesn't have a job, I suggested that he doesn't have an understanding of Australian law in relation to workplace violence.
You know what?.....I'm finding your lack of respect, which has shown through in a couple of your posts, quite off-putting. You are certainly not endearing yourself to me as a result......although I suppose that won't bother you one iota.
While we certainly have had disagreements amongst ourselves, majority of Lions people on BF try to get along...would really be good if you could try to as well.
A coaches room is usually just a room next to the changeroom, separated by a door. If the door was open, anyone could see in.I wouldn't imagine anyone except Lions people were in the rooms at half time. Personally I cannot see how it would be from anyone else outside of the club but that is just me. I have reached a level of 'comfortable satisfaction', if you will.

As I already stated, there would be kids in there from other clubs (the Lions are flat out fielding one team, it's imposible to field 2 without top ups). It is possible that there could be an invited guest from QAFL, AFL, or any of the top up players' clubs. Could have been a janitor or security worker for all I know. Even a journalist could have been in earshot/eyesight. I don't think anyone is in a position to know that "only Lions staff" were in there.
It was NEAFL, hardly a top secret war room.
Well I have been in many changerooms before and have never seen anyone in there that wasn't in some way connected to the club. Agree to disagree I guess.A coaches room is usually just a room next to the changeroom, separated by a door. If the door was open, anyone could see in.

fair enough I agree that I could have used appropriate wording but I still think its a valid hypothesis. I read somewhere that the incident occurred with only two people in the room being Leppa and ZOB. How else was this incident supposed to get out to the media outlets?This part;
is a bit hysterical.
Absolutely nothing to suggest it came from "Lions HQ", nor that anyone "wants 'The' Leppa gone".
Not just the story that might have been exaggerated. Some imaginations might also be.

I partly agree but would be changing a couple of words but do totally agree with your workplace drum banging - the times are a changing and some 'old folk' might need to re-assess their thinking to the times.Old people of low intelligence don't like young people who think differently to them.

Same scenario but lets change a couple of things, let's wind the clock forward to today AND change the gender of the 24 year old to be a female footballer.
Some starting to feel a little different about the actions being right/wrong? I would hope so!
I thought it was disrespectful when you shot me down for referring to Josh Green as 'Fatso Green'. Clearly that was a joke, and a reasonable one considering he is considerably overweight for an elite athlete. I also thought it was disrespectful when you referred to those questioning Leppa's actions as 'a bunch of sooks'. Times have changed and the actions that Leppa was alleged to have committed (alleged, ie the throat grab) are NOT reasonable in 2015.
Clearly we have very different ways of thinking about things, so lets just agree to disagree?
Hey Hysteria25, since you present yourself as an expert on workplace law, how would you go if you called someone in your workplace by the surname of Green "Fatso Green"...wouldn't that constitute workplace bullying and/or harassment? Bullies always say "that it was only a joke". How would you go if your defence was that your comment was "...a reasonable one considering he is considerably overweight for an elite athlete".
Given that Leppa and ZoB have both publicly moved on, both expressed remorse and AFLPA (the players union) have accepted this why are you being so hysterical and continuing to make serious allegations about a matter for which you do not have one iota of proof.
