Watching Jetta V Williamstown on the weekend was like watching Cupido. Tons of talent but an atiitude like his s**t doesn't stink and that he just didn't want to be there. Granted he was in the Bendiogo Bombers but blokes like MJ, Hocking, Campo, Bradley and Houli were playing their guts out like they wanted to play senior footy. On the other hand, Jetta looked like he was just above it all.....have we got ourselves another Cupido???

Dont think so VanDerHaar has been injured alot this year only a kid i remember saying the exact same thing about Travis Varcoe last year and he certainly proved me wrong and i am sure Leroy will be the same.

he did have it and even if he doesn't have it now there would still be lingering effects

As long as he's not another Cupido in terms of attitude, then that makes me feel alot better....!!!

He's injured. So sick of supporters having a crack at a young kid who is playing injured and moved interstate. Seriously, its as bad as Minglis spouting his saveessendon c**p.

why is he still playing then shouldnt he just be rested then.
his priority and the clubs priority now would be to make sure he is fit came the start of pre season surely.

Because it can't get any worse and playing footy and getting that experience is what's best for him.

We need to get games into our kids, at any level.

It can get worse if he only has a mild case. I've heard Yoga is a good strategy for it.

After Sundays game i think Leroy may be done for the year. He hasnt trained this week so his groin problem has obviously flared up again.
I think Leroys problems are a combination of things. He had OP last year and the effects have lingered on this year. He has come off a very low fitness base and has struggled at times with that this year.
I had a bit of a shot at him over his game on Sunday which was probaly a bit harsh but i wasnt impressed that he made no real efforts to chase his man who ran off him a number of times and got possession through the middle.
I suspect Leroy has let the dissapointment of the injury get to him and he dropped his head a bit on Sunday.
I think he will be ok once he gets his fitness up and running :thumbsu:

Mate - I was calling it as I saw it....I didnt realise he had O.P/groin. So thanks for your comment. As Ant said - he looked like he just wasnt interested on Sunday - his demeanour and movement didnt reflect someone with O.P/groin, rather someone who just wasn't interested. That was my stament!!

Going out drinking with Cole is the main reason why people think like that though...
