Society/Culture Let’s talk about...gouging

A hip flask solves that issue.
Always take a flask on the hip to any gathering, when I was in Southern California a few years back every bloke had their fave tequila in their back pocket.
I was quite startled by this behaviour, but they said it was as simple as remembering your wallet and keys.👍

I only just found out my Telstra AFL app ain't worth sh*t anymore, needing Kayo to watch footy.

The cost of living just keeps rising, soon you'll need to scan a QR code and watch several ads in order to simply flush the toilet.

Just discovered that now myself. They can get stuffed, not purchasing Kayo. Just another thing to add to the many things over recent years that are rapidly diminishing my interest in the footy.

From a social manipulation and management perspective the social credit score should directly relate to your investment in the sport.

The sport serves as a surrogate for our inherent tribalism to express itself and allows us to direct that competitive and confrontational energy at something controlled and ultimately not important, rather than towards systems of power.

So rewarding people for taking their medication would be more effective and denying them the medication until they perform the dance.

As far as price gouging goes, that's a result of everyone in the chain twisting the towel. Even in supermarkets there are usually rules for operating a shop that a percentage of your total revenue is paid to the center, not profit, and that you have to renovate every x number of years.

I would expect that any captive market will be exploited and the flow on down to the customers will feel it.

‘I’d say 75% of the reason Australians (well not the well off ones or celebrities) are locked in to this island for what is now a second year is pressure from domestic tourism.

they can’t have overseas incoming tourism, so are pressuring the govt to lock Aussies in. It’s an absolute s**t show and was supposed to end with the vaccine.

well remember this tourist operators, I bet you are still charging several hundred to ferry people out to a bit of barrier reef which looks like the bulldozers have run over it a few times, and thousands to see anything like pristine reef

got Kayo on Telstra deal, and suspended Foxtel for a year on Telstra ‘covid relief’. That went well for you afl/Foxtel $150 pa instead of $900. You never extended UHD programming like you said you would, and 4 mins of ads at one time during re runs of 6 year old gogglebox UK episodes?
