I for one have found myself in many verbal stouches with Cat's fans over my time at BigFooty.

We have lost a great player due to our own incompetence, and perhaps a little bit of greed on Rawlings' part. I never dreamed I would see him leave the Hawks. I can assure you that it breaks my heart.

However, you should all be pleased that Rawlings has found something within the Cats that he finds attractive. Something we cannot give him. I feel for Jade's Hawk teammates who made financial sacrifices to enable him to stay a Hawk.

I for one will never bag the Cats again. You have snared yourselves a fine player, great guy aswell. I hope he does well for the Cats.

I apologise to Catman, Phatandphreaky and whoever else I have bagged. Footy is too fickle to remain bitter and I am just learning that.

I agree with most you've said, but i don't think it's fair to label Jade 'greedy'.

The guy wants a three year deal, and if offered that, would stay at Hawthorn.

I could understand him being labelled such if he was demanding $100K over the odds, but this is strictly about contract length.

Jade deserves more credit, regardless of where he ends up.

Very classy for you to say, Jacqui-- and I, for one, accept your apology.

However, at this moment in time, Jade Rawlings is not yet a Geelong player.

Just something about chickens and waiting for them to hatch-- I won't believe he's ours until the trade is done and he's signed, sealed and delivered.

I'm sure that Geelong would be considered the favourites in the Jade Rawlings derby, but I'd prefer to wait until he's actually down at Kardinia Park.

But having said that, we'd be thrilled to have him.

I am trying to remain positive at the moment, but everything seems to be going really wrong.

I feel like I have been hit by a truck load of bricks. I am disappointed in the footy club immensely for the mess we are in. I am also disappointed at the way Jade has flaunted this through the media as well as through his manager. I am also angry that we gave Jade a chance to be something when we should of given up on him.

I feel sorry for our CEO Steven Leighton. He is left to pick up the pieces after Michael Brown mismanaged and fled to the ACB.

I'd be ****ed off at Hawthorn for the way in which your players were required to take pay cuts for Rawlings and now with him gone you are apparently after Nathan Brown, demanding much more money than Jade. The question is, who are they taking pay cuts for?
