I say the Melbourne Football Club should call a Melbourne FC Board & Members meeting...Invite all members and all players must attend. I'd love to give them my 2 cents and tell them what a disgrace they are to support, follow and watch at the moment.

That would really help. So-called supporters ripping in to players telling them how weak they are.

When will people realise that most of the lads are actually having a dip, a lot of them are just not ****ing good enough.

Saw Col Sylvia replying to keyboard warriors on twitter about him supposedly smiling after the game. Made me feel a bit sick. Being hassled on there is a disgrace in itself so I don't see why a forum for our supporters to rant and rave would be of any benefit to the club.

Correct on both accounts. A fair portion of the players are having a real crack but are being horribly let down by others who have cracked the sads cause it's gotten harder now. You can win a game of footy if you have 3 or 4 passengers.

The players who are putting in don't really need to hear all the 'supporters' who are not going to buy a membership and rip into them cause 'they could probably do a better job'.

I'd just like to be a fly on the wall for Neeld's one on one with the players. I'd like to see him look them in the eye and ask them what it means to play for the MFC and if they really want to be here.

I have my doubts about Neeld but I don't for one second doubt his passion. Can no longer say the same for a number of players. Col Sylvia is near the top of the list.

Any player having a cry about people going them on Twitter is a ********. Unless you're going to use your account for something other than talking about playing FIFA and having haircuts don't cry when people take advantage of the perfect medium for online abuse.

Not saying I support some of the garbage people write but it's like giving out your phone number and asking people to call in with their opinions.

Certainly wasn't having a cry, was just defending himself and saying that he was as flat as a tack after the game and is very, very disappointed with his efforts. He knows that. The club knows that. Doesn't need to hear it from the idiots on twitter... although you are right in saying that if you have an account you open yourself up to that sort of stuff.

Agree, if you want a twitter account expect the good and the bad. Cant expect everyone to just blow kisses your way all the time.

To Col's credit at least he got on there and replied genuinely to each negitive comment about his game last night. Would have been easy to just do a Brent Moloney and just say 'your tough behind your computer', at least he is acknowledging he is not playing up to standard and is understanding the so called 'fans' feelings at this time.

Indeed. When I saw CFH's comments I was expecting a Moloney-esque 'Herp, derp, keyboard warrior, durj' reply, but he seemed much more mature about it. That aside, I still think he should be in line to be dropped this week and traded/delisted at years end.
