We're not going to get Brown, we're not going to get Kerr, we are a chance to get Cousins.

Teams (other than Fremantle) will not trade or deal with us when it comes to big named footballers and that's why we don't get them.

We need to find our own.

We need to get lucky in the draft and pluck a player like Selwood at 7-10 somewhere along the lines.

As much as it hurts me to say this, we could honestly fall outside the 8, maybe as low as tenth because we may struggle to win another game this year as we are shot, no confidence, no second key target down forward and it throws off our radar.

If this does happen we need to find a player, a young midfielder with our first pick.

If we can do this as well as draft Cousins, and get a little bit of luck with key forward next year, maybe settle back down a bit in defense, we will be a threat.

If we offer the best deal then a club would deal with us, its as simple as that. Clubs are multi million dollar business's and make business decisions. If they refused to trade with us because we are collingwood and who is at the club then they would be very stupid.
