I was hurting like nothing on Earth after the Prelim, and posted a thread entitled "Pride" which described my pain. Did anyone say "get over it"? No, all the responses were understanding and sympathetic.
So all of you out there who are telling the rest of us to get on with your lives, consider how it would feel if your AFL team lost a final or a big game, or any game. "Get over it?" Eventually, but it's the last thing you want to hear mere hours after the game.
