I'll say it again. We desperately need a few blokes to put their hands up so we can drop a few players and show this sort of effort is unacceptable. But until we have any decent replacements, we'll probably be largely unchanged...

ridiculous suggestion. Ready made get out excuse for TW to blood more kids, instead of regurgitating the same crap week in week out.;)

I don't care how many ruckman we have out Pattison is not a footballer, fancy being beaten by both Richards and Fraser, his disposal, effort, reading of the game and basic human co-ordination are all questionable and should be dropped until he is able to prove that he can do a least one thing right.

you aint got a clue dude, this kid is a long way back in the queue, at the exit door. Still learning and will learn, because he is hungry to learn and make a difference. There are players there that have been in perpertual learning for their entire career. ;)

Vindication.

It's the age-old problem at Richmond. Do you give games to under-performing senior guys or to young guys that haven't earned it? Both are bad.

This will be fun,

Out: Howat, Gaspar, Johnson, Pattison, McGuane(shown us that he can play, just needs to develop more) Hyde

In: Hughes, P Bowden, Edwards, Conners, King, JON, Casserly, you could add to that Rievoldt,

Or just

Out:Richmond
In: Coburg

I seriously am trying not to give a ****

they earned it by being drafted. Why would you think they were drafted? If they were drafted because they were not good enough to mix it a little in the big league, then we are going nowhere. SO far we have seen a drip feed of maybe something. Apart from that, every other side is introducing youngsters each week and we are prodcuing JS. ;)

Exhibit A# - Collingwood tonight

All of them....the whole f@#kin lot of them...
Empty out the whole club...
GROUND F@#KIN ZERO.

How can Wallace let this group be so unfit and mentally soft.
Pay the media mogul out. Loves the sight of his own face more than achieving anything in sport.

He should have gone ballistic at them at Half Time, not back slap.
The coach hasn't a clue, the Captain is the softest piece of sponge we've ever had and they are a disgrace to the Yellow & Black.
I was ashamed of those pretenders tonight. Front running soft p#ssies.

I've had a gutful of Wallace, he allows & nurtures mediocrity.

This old legend could have done better than Wallace with this group.

Hey dude, one thing you want to factor in there. Richo, i call a spade a spade dude. 3rd game in 12 days, we were on a mission in the first half and the buck stops with you dude. If you were on target, we win. You werent and here we are. ;)

Few observations from my point of view:

Howat - not even a good Geelong Football League player.
Polo: I love this kid more than anyone. Would like to see him freed from some responsibility for a change and let the kid get a kick.
Raines: WTF? Where do I start. Ok so was injured. Just proves that you can't heap all the responsibility on the kids. He'll be OK, just needs to learn with some decent players around him. Has been crap in 3 games so far though. Spotlight is on him.
Richo: could have put us 8 points down with 10 mins to go and misses while Schulz (who should have taken the kick) limps off with an injury. Seriously, I love the big bozo as much as anyone, but he needed to kick that goal tonight and he didn't.

Positives:
Tambling: showed some real poise tonight. His best game. While the others gave in and moped around at least he was in there giving it a it go. Thought he played a beauty tonight.
Lids: I just hope the cancer doesn't spread to him.
Krakouer: Thought he was good tonight, and actually reckon he's been good in our 3 games so far.
Schulz: 2nd best game for the club. Not saying much I know, but got a bit of the ball tonight.
Tivendale: for all the rubbish I've given him, I do consider myself a fair man. Credit where it's due. He played well tonight.

As I said, I'm gutted. Shattered.
We play an unaccounable, 'untackalable' type of footy under Plough. How long can it last?
Agree with all that Tugga, though I thought Tambling faded in the second half. Still developing the motor required for AFL, but was clearly our best up to half time. Also thought Newman was very solid until he hurt his leg. That may have thrown up a few ghosts, as he didn't seem as good after that.
Polo - really needs to work on his handballing, but I still think he has plenty of potential.
Gaspar - times up. The pace of the game is showing up his disposal more than ever. Couldn't even outmark Leon Davis, would have swallowed that one in his prime and Davis wouldn't have had a sniff let alone snapping a goal.
Moore - doesn't seem to give us much. I never thought I'd say this, but Ray Hall may be a better option than both Gaspar and Moore when he's fit.

Although after naming Moore and Gaspar, I thought our backline held up ok when there was pressure on Colllingwood delivering it. In the second half Collingwood were able to bring it down too quickly and easily and the backline didn't have much chance. It was in the midfield where we got flogged in the second half. We really miss Cogs' steel in there. His disposal can be a bit haphazrd at times, but I think people have underestimated his importance to our midfield. We seemed to leave a corridor throught the centre for Collingwood midfielders to run through at centre bounces at times.

Also thought a few of our young blokes lost a bit of confidence because they like to run and bounce the ball, but the deck was a bit slippery and the ball wasn't bouncing back. There were a few turnovers from this and it threw some doubts into the kids heads. Something to learn from.

Should get flicked but won't: Gaspar Johnson
On their last chance: Petts Raines
Find out where Coburg are next week: Howat Moore Hyde

Due back next week: Brown(?), PB, Edwards, Hartigan, Hughes,

yeah and TW through in the secret weapon to counter it. WTF? were you going for the tattslotto when you had the "undeisel" Pettifer in the middle TW?;)

Due back next week: Brown(?), PB, Edwards, Hartigan, Hughes,

you dont get it do you dude? lets put it this way. The passengers in our side will do what they do best for a few games, and when they ride the wave on the back of the doers, will then have another few weeks to be passengers.
We have dudes in the side that have been doing the same for the last 6 years. Keep sleeping.
But they are doing ok for themselves. You see, the tigerheads only remember that one goal that they kicked, or that one really skillful handball that they gave, or maybe even that one game out of 10 that they played well in, and forget the plethora of other **** ups. ;)

WTF? how can you put hyde in the same bracket as howat and moore? hyde and tivendale may not be our most talented 2, but they have been our best 2 players so far this year. they put in week in week out.

pettifer needs 7 weeks at vfl level so he can pull his finger out. he has got to be the worst tackler in the league.

I do get it but the problem is at present there are no players at Coburg that have put enough pressure on to warrant wholesale changes. Yes the time has come for a changing of the guard and when Thursfield is fit and playing well enough then he should come in at the expense of Gaspar. Johnson wont get dropped as it is extremely rare that an AFL Captain will.

I was like most of us last night totally shattered and yet after a sleep and time to calm down I realise that last night was one of those that saw the young kids play somewhere near their potential while some of the older blokes had off nights. But read a post I put on the main board where I talked about " The Problem at Richmond". That is we get overly excited at players playing a good half of footy here and there and annoint them the saviour of the club.

The way I look at it things wont change until fans start demanding the performances are more consistent, instead of back slapping guys who lay a good half every now and then. Yes it was good to see Tambling have a good first half but next week you can almost pick that he will go back to what he showed against the Swans 4 possies and a couple of goals. I would rather the 19 possies 9 tackles are added to that couple of goals.

Can't really afford to put Pettifer in the two's at the moment. It really annoys me how he kicks the first goal and then has no impact whatsoever on the game. You'd think he'd want to set his game up from that but it's never to be.

I'd probably drop Patto, Raines (I love him but he needs to find some confidence in the seconds) and I don't think Moore deserves another chance now he's just not up to it.

Please return N.Brown. :(

1. Terry Wallace
2. Greg Miller
3. Gary March...who the F^&k is this bloke anyway!!!!!

We are being run by a bunch of frauds and if we don't wake up to this quickly, in 5 years time we will be looking back at this period like we are looking back at the Casey Frawley era now.....I thought we had moved on, but we are heading backwards real fast.

Pattison needs to play seniors all year this year, or our future is even more ****ed than it is now. He really needs to work on his confidence and his disposal big time. He gives the ball away too much. But that will come with time, and when he puts a bit of bulk on he will be a better ruckman (or chf watever)

Pettifer, my god, hes back to the Frawley days. Doesnt chase hard enough, hes weak, he cant tackle to save his life (evidence when harry o'brien slapped of his half arsed attempt at a tackle) and what the hell has happened to his kicking?!?! cant even kick 50 anymore, he used to be a dead eye from that range.
