A message to all the so called supporters who are carrying on about Fev. He is gone. You do not withdraw your support for a club based on one player. My grandparents were Carlton people, so are my parents, me and now my kids- always were, always will be.
When I see morons like the one on page 4 of the Herald Sun this morning wearing a Brisbane scarf, it makes me mad. Anybody who would do this is not a real Carlton person.
Nobody is to blame for this but Fev.
The deal may offer short term pain but will, no doubt, be best for the CFC in the long run.
The sun has risen, its a new day and the future is bright.

Well said outabounds. I agree with you 100%. I am a keen Carlton supporter, and so is my son. It hurts me to hear people will not support Carlton anymore because of 1 player leaving.

I support the club through the good and bad times, as I have all my life. One player is not going to change that.

Totally agree:thumbsu: Hope there are top seats available:rolleyes:, replacing those who jump ship cause of one player:mad: they are just as selfish as Fev was! when he play's at times with other TEAM mates! at the end of the day it's Fev's quality of life, the hierarchy wanted to change for the betterment of himself and of his children/family. But my bet is once we start getting win's under our belts, they'll be back, no doubt:thumbsu:

Great OP. :thumbsu: I would not worry about it too much, I doubt it will have any noticeable effect on membership numbers at all. We have had record membership for a few years now so we are due a downturn, with or without him, so if this year numbers are a little down (and I still think we will get 40K) then it is a statistical fact of life that numbers cannot continually be going up.

And like another poster has highlighted, the numbers may start slower because of doubts about our chances of success but man they will pile on fast when we show that to be a lie and we are firmly entrenched in the 8 next year.

Great OP.
I think when people realise what Fevola has actually done, they will start to come around. I would also suggest that with the pre-season being as long as it is, these people will start to get itchy feet, and I doubt that many people will drop off as we think.

Another point worth considering is that I believe there was a major sponsor ready to pull their deal had Fevola not left, and also some supporters were not going to renew their memberships had he stayed.

What a beautiful day, very very happy with the outcome of trade week for the mighty Blues. My wife said to me this morning for the 1st time in 3 weeks you havent mentioned Fevolas name. :thumbsu:

Don't want to bag the guy because on field he was mostly fantastic but he had to go. I had a lot to do with him when he was younger and even though he was an idiot then, I still found an element of him that was likeable but the club needed to make a stance.
Thanks for your kind words about my OP.

Umm....how do you move forward when you keep on posting the same stuff??

Don't start another 'Fev thread' and you might just do that.
