Hey all fellow Tiger supporters!!! This is my 1st post.
I recently brought 2 tickets for our game this weekend and i was told i could not get 2 seats on the second level and had to get some on the ground level. This has never happened before so just maybe thier will be a decent crowd. 30,000+

Wasn't trying to make an excuse - it was just the only reason I could think why people would not stay for that. But whether ya like it or not it happens all the time. Worked the North/Brisbane game the other night and some lady was saying "If they (North) get another goal in the next few minutes I'm leaving" before half time. And so she did. When I'm working I always hear people mumbling stuff about getting to the train before the crowd, or they're taking their shitty little children home, or because they don't wanna hear the other team's song or they're just shit sports. I have been late to games many times but have never left early and never want to! Win or loss it feels good to be there and clap the boys off the ground.
Yeah I don't ever remember leaving a game early. Even that Geelong game.. :(

I do sometimes leave the second the siren goes though, especially when its a team like Carlton/Collingwood where you want to escape before hearing their dreaded song.

Btw, if you're single I have nfi how? lol.

Haha yeah I do that a lot of the times too, as soon as you hear their song it's time to GTFO. And if you're not quick enough it's stuck in your head all day:thumbsdown:

Bah... I struggle haha. But I prefer to say "by choice".

I've left early before. Not often, but I have done. If the players clock off early, then I see no reason why anyone else should do overtime.

Premium A reserved seat member... will be there as always (with 3 others)... good times and bad.

For anyone to suggest Richmond are bandwagon supporters is just stupid. Even when going terribly we consistently get respectable crowds and membership numbers. The Tigers will never die, and our resurgence has begun.

Nah I'll be at the game braving the conditions. Cheering the boys and getting pumped. Pumping the fist at every goal
Good for you MT. For what it's worth, I pin-pointed a few games this year as must attend games, and this is one of them. Unfortunately circumstances dictate that I can't be there, which I am dead set bleeding about.

Look the reality is that our crowd pulling appeal is hamstrung by being 16th and all the poor form over all the years. It won't be a huge crowd but 30,000 should be possible weather permitting.

Only 4 clubs can hope to average 40K plus at home whilst in the basement and we are one of them. With a top 8 team will come huge crowds but whilst we remain in the basement we have to accept 30,000 is a decent turnout.

Dragged my mate over from Hobart for the weekend - he's a Weagles man - we'll be there getting tanked and bantering it up.

Disappointed I couldn't make the Saints game - but I bought tickets to Birds of Tokyo months ago - and I just couldn't miss it.

I'm almost always there, although in this case I have a big night planned for Saturday night ( a fellow Richmond supporters birthday at the pub he works at ), so while the intention is definately to go it'll depend on if the world is spinning slowly enough to allow me to let go of my bed ( or the gutter ).

Almost enough to make you wish it was a twilight game.

erm...not so young...I've lived through 5 tigers flags..

and we're taking a pub with a late licence, and a propensitity to stage 'lock ins' when the locals ( such as myself ) want to kick on.

It might be my age showing, but after a dozen or so pints, I start to feel it the next day....Although it'll be the shots that'll kill.

However bad your hangover it will be as nothing compared to the shock of MT's boot up your rear regions if you don't show for a Tigers game at the G.

Why don't you have 8 pints and no shots? That will do the job ;)

8 pints and no shots? That'd be like leaving at half time. Only way I can see that happening is if an attractive young lady I'm yet to become acquainted with made me a better offer. Sadly, my experience suggests that's not an especially likely scenario.
