Always a good contest and like always could go either way.

But for those of you dismissing Brisbane, be afraid... watching them up close on Saturday, Brown, Bradshaw are super-fit and will have a brilliant year. Their midfield is 4th or 5th best in the competition and their backline is more than capable. Also they're all big bodied and play for each other.

On form I'd have to tip the Blues, but not by any big margin.

theres no game i'd rather win this season than this one with all the hype surrounding carlton.

im accepting nothing less than a 10 goal win.

in any year (even premiership yrs), the club must beat carlton and hawthorn for it to be a success. these are the win at all costs matches.

This game would set us up come finals time. I would expect both teams would be fighting for a final eight spot so this game is super important.

I don't think so, he's been on crutches for two weeks....club's trying to get him to minimise impact during the week. If you hear during the week that he didn't train, it's because he has been training in the pool.

Yeah no doubting that Hille will be the best ruck on the ground but you have no one else so I think that together the sauce and Krueze can at least break even.....but hey with a stella midfield such as ours it won't matter, we will simply just start roving to Hile and then burst away towards goal....and the rest is history.

Well done, beat a Hird-less Essendon outfit by 1 point. Showed what difference Hird meant to the team the following year!

Blues are finally going to play a team that provides them with a challenge. Tigers were pathetic in round 1 and the Lions are nowhere near top 8 material.

We will play joseph on him, that's not to say that he will be beaten but that will be the match up. Joseph has played very well and did a good job on Harvey, Ablett, N.Brown and Hooper (pick the odd one out lol). I love the way Lovett plays and for mine he is the most dangerous player on your list.

The hype surrounding the blues is annoying me, cuz lets be serious its round 2! There is a long way to go this season and anything can happen.

Looking forward to an exciting game, as they always are between two great rivals. My tip is the blues by 13 on form alone (we all know form can mean little going into these encounters).
