Need to get 1 more. Hoping to get it sooner rather than later so we can move on to the next phase, get official numbers on who can/will attend a meetup/catchup at Windy Hill

YES. Generally the hashtag has to be tweeted 1200= times before it gets trending. This may also include people quoting it and even RTing it. HOWEVER, if you (1 single person) tweet 100 times an hour, you will end up in twitter jail for anywhere between 30 minutes and 120 minutes.

If you tweet 1000 times in any 24 hour period, you will also end p in twitter jail for the same time period as spoken about above.

I received 60 new twitter followers by tweeting that hashtag last night. Want another 50 tonight.

also regarding this Windy Hill meetup, if this can't happen, I would still want to do something. Plan B could be an interview with a Bombers fan(s) to get our point across regarding this horrible topic. That could also be a winner.
 
Question... How many American Bomber fans are here? I'd be interested to see if we can get #teambombers trending in the US.

I wouldn't know. Pretty much got the media I wanted on side. I need help to organise numbers. I want someone or a couple of people to help me with this. Step 1 is done. Who will step forward to help?

I am a Carlton Supporter but I would like to offer my sincere support to the Essendon Football Club. Although I "hate" your team on the field(when I think about it is more of a love the idea to hate then a true sincere hate), the whole AFL needs to stand as one on this . I honestly think you guys will be ok and nothing bad will come of this, but we need to make sure that the Bombers brand will be not be tarnished. A strong successful Essendon is so important to our competition and on a selfish note important to Carlton. Our rivalry is one of the greatest in sport and one of my favorite aspects about the AFL. I respect your club and respect your history and famous ex players. Lets stand as one on this issue. I will sign whatever or attend whatever event to show my support. Good luck guys. Keep your head up.

What would be better would be to do a massive one at the family day. Get the whole crowd to do one while the team are on stage. They'd definitely take notice then whereas they may try to put the crowd in the back of their mind on Friday.
 
how about if we replicate Collingwood (as much as I hate to say that) and chant Eeesssssseennnnddddoooonnnn ? get all ourfans to chat it out. I am sure we will be able to do it early on vs Doggies ha ha
