Can you remember any examples from it working?

Also didn't Primus try it once?

It worked pretty regularly. eg. the last minor round against Brisbane in 2003.

Overall in 2001 we went 16-6, 2002 18 - 4, 2003 18 - 4, 2004 17 - 5.

Didn't lose many games in that period, so it worked pretty well early on. It wore off a bit as time went on.

It wasn't pulled out that often, wouldn't surprise me if we went a whole season without it. Didn't often find ourselves needing an inspiration 3/4 rev up at home.

Poor St Kilda.

Lost to us in an epic, then done the good deed of upsetting Adelaide at home the following year in the finals, and still nothing to show for it.

Barry Hall took out one of their key defenders in the 05 prelim forcing the Coleman medalist to move down back.

2005: Lost a showdown semi final
2007: Lost the grand final (this causes a lot of damage to the club)
2013: Lost in the semi
2014: Lost in the prelim but under a kick (SANFL side loses grand final by under a kick a day later)
2015: Missed finals by a game (even had better % than 8th)
2017: Loses elimination final at home after the siren in extra time. (SANFL side loses grand final by 1 point)
2019: Very slim chance of making finals in the last week, results don't go our way, getting destroyed by North before ruined it. (SANFL side loses grand final)

I miss Hammer playing in the middle like this. Any team with 3 players who can kick like this, is in their best 12-15 gotta be flag favourites the way the game is played these days and the 6-6-6 rule.

Can't believe that was 7 years ago.
