Tsunamis fascinate me a lot. They are one of the most powerful natural disasters that we face on earth and they can happen at any moment, any time. Earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes are all super too in their own right but tsunamis are incredible.
croweater 41 and I talk often and tsunamis are a regular topic of conversation. Welcome to the Tsunami thread Crowwy and anyone else who would like to join.
Now, in current news there's a Tsunami warning posed for Japan after a 7.5 magnitude earthquake has struck. Estimated 3m tsunami however I am less than convinced a tsunami of significance will take place. Now, I'm no expert, but I do love a good tsunami and regularly keep eye on them as they happen.
Sources say there is no damage or impact to nuclear reactors so far, important given what has previously happened to Japan some 15 years ago - and yes Crowwy and I were both there watching in horror as it happened. Japan has been unfortunately a target of a lot of recent warnings lately, poor residents living in fear - must be so worrying.
