There's a reason you get taught to guide the ball onto your foot with one hand, it's allows the kick to be more accurate more often.

Because of his double handed ball drop, for Levi to kick straight both his hands need to leave the ball at exactly the same time which is very hard to do plus because he's dropping it with both hands it's free falling from a higher position allowing more time for things to get out of whack before the ball hits his foot.

It's not the ball drop that is the problem, I worked it out tonight watching him kick for goal.

He walks in straight but with 3-4 steps left before kicking, he swings out really wide on his right so his kicking leg actually slices across the ball at point of impact. If you could get him to walk in completely straight in his approach, it would reduce the chances of error dramatically.

Buckets used to be able to kick goals from 50 out on the boundary, but was shocking from set shot. Now with his set shots he seems to just wheel around like he's pinging them from 50 out rather than lining up straight. If it works for him in the future like it worked tonight then I hope he just keeps doing it.

Was great tonight, terrific hands.

Like the change in his kicking style, has a bit of a hook in it now, that little arke he's doing gets the ball to swing from right to left. In the past everything has been too straight and the ball could swing either direction, now he knows which way it's going to swing he can aim at a spot and it will curve in straight through the big ones.

The Icelandic Sagas sing songs of Spangher's hair and Levi's beard dueling it out. Was a monster tonight and if he can somehow learn to kick like that every week he will be an A grade forward.

Could be anything

I said in the post match, if he puts up games like this every week how can we argue he isnt a top teir power forward in the league?

Needs to get a bit fitter/faster and a touch more agile (wouldnt mind seeing him drop a few kgs) and can really be a match winner

If you only watched the last 2 weeks you'd never know he had set shot issues. His marking is frankly one of the best in the league, if he can start to move like the clokes and tippets it wont take much for him to be considered in their class
