Was great tonight, terrific hands.
Like the change in his kicking style, has a bit of a hook in it now, that little arke he's doing gets the ball to swing from right to left. In the past everything has been too straight and the ball could swing either direction, now he knows which way it's going to swing he can aim at a spot and it will curve in straight through the big ones.
It always seemed weird that we'd ever pin any legitimate hope onto him. He was pick 44 in the Rookie Draft. So literally every club in the league passed on him at least 5 or 6 times before we picked him up.
But you watch him last night, watch him this season and you see all that raw potential that he's starting to harness, and boy is it ******* exciting. Great, great game tonight.
Always had the contested mark but to see it more consistently is just fantastic. The most impressive thing has been the way he has built up his fitness. His chasing out of the backline is often so much better than some of our smalls, and I know he won't kick 4 straight every week, but if he can maintain around 60-70% accuracy it'd be a huge bonus

The Duke would be the only comparison in recent memory.Looking at the vision from the past at the 150th last night I would have to say we have never had a forward of his size.

Setanta was a big unit too.The Duke would be the only comparison in recent memory.
Watch the Dogs hounding Casboult.
yeah, is a worry.
Would be a dog act for cas to leave IMO
please...Was practically a game changing performance if not for the umpiring.
Don't think he wasBootsma/Lucas and Casboult were being shopped around last year by the Club - weren't they?
Don't think he was

I think I absolutely nailed that prediction didn't II noticed this since those back to back OOBs too. His kicking has been getting better since that game. Glad to see that knuckling down of his kicking action is starting to pay off...We will have ourselves an A-grade forward if he can continue with the progression he has shown in the past 3 weeks![]()
Hey Dram While You are blowing your own Trumpet! i'll raise you and you'll see one>>No Problems here that cant be fixed....
Watch Happy Gilmour the night/day before the game.....
Happy Place.
Happy Place.
The same could be said this year. If the dogs offered us something too good to refuse - you'd have to consider it.The club would have only parted with Cas for the right deal.

Cast your mind back to the great comeback over PTA last year & have a look at Levi's face post game, very disenchanted. Did not look happy at all, and copped relegation again this year. Why would he leave us? He's getting consistent game time at senior level and Mick really believes in him.
Good let's start a bidding war. Levi continues on his upward trajectory for the rest of the year and who knows - we may be able to squeeze out a first round pick. I mean if you can get one for Dawes or Wellingham, surely a Levi doing what he did on Friday every week is worth the same?Cast your mind back to the great comeback over PTA last year & have a look at Levi's face post game, very disenchanted. That being said, Rob Wiley has said it was MM that came on with kicking tips for Levi and seems to be working. Expect to play for the remainder of the year but maybe there's some issue with being on the market last year? Collingwood may also be in the hunt - know that Nick Maxwell thinks highly of his marking & Q Stick on the way out. Melbourne need to replace Clark, Brisbane the same with Brown, Richmond/Vickery, WBD....
