The big fella was brilliant today, crashing packs, surprising pace to chase down Dempsey (twice), and he kicked well. How much better do we look with him and Waite up forward as targets?

If Levi can strip off one or two more kg's this pre-season he can become a serious force at CHF. He is already surprisingly mobile and athletic but a slight improvement in his fitness levels and he will be very hard to stop. Levi is a natural mark and reads the ball very well in the air, often marking at the highest point. Has great physicality as well.

Fantastic game from Levi today, he really is an exciting propsect. :thumbsu:

He has really improved with his opportunities, and was fantastic today, he will only improve

A confidence thing, and its building

Congrats to Levi :hearts:

This. Opportunity is feeding confidence.

That is a superb display from Levi.:thumbsu: I'm sure he has a long way to go, but well done thus far.

Levi and Waite up forward just straighten us up and is wonderful to behold.

I just couldn't see Casboult being a serious player and considering he was a late starter this year, I thought his time was over.
There's something very satisfying about being proved wrong.

Instead of going backwards after his first game the kid has just built upon that base.
That run down of Dempsey just sealed the deal. Good on Levi. :thumbsu:

I remember in the off season he was very close to being de-listed according to some posts here. Happy it didn't happen.

Reckon Levi would be very coachable ... just has the right attitude
You're spot on. He's done everything right. In his first year at the club, he felt he was too heavy and couldn't get the best out of his body, so he worked hard and lost 16kgs. He adhered to his strict diet and everything went right for him.
Last year with his injury he obviously couldn't play, but worked his butt of in the gym to stay fit and did whatever he could whilst not playing.
This year, he felt he needed to change his body shape a bit after feeling he lacked a bit of strength and he put on a few kgs and its paid off.
His marking this year has come along in leaps and bounds. A real presence in the forward line and he is able to crash through packs. His ability to read the ball in the air is great.
His goal kicking action still needs a bit of tweaking, but that will come in time.
His ruck work is improving as well.

Today's game was a ripper, the goal and those chase downs on dempsey.
It's a real confidence booster for him being able to string these games together, he got his chance and he's taken it with both hands.
Full credit to him! As you well know, I could go on for hours, but I think I'll leave it here haha!

Levi to kick 99 goals in a season, steal suit jackets from the dry cleaners, go to Ireland and get a bartender in a headlock, take nudie snaps of lara bingle in the shower, stay positively drunk for most of the off season.

........

Jokes!

He'll kick 99 goals though.
