Missed when he first came off but then seeing him during the break and after the game in positive spirits had me thinking it was not so much to worry about so I continued on celebrating after the game. To only just get around to hearing the presser to find out an ACL was heartbreaking. How well he conducted himself during and after the game shows the class of the man and how much of a team first orientated clubman he is.

I find the 100 games to be really special and one that endears itself to me more than other milestones, yes I enjoy the father/son aspect considerably but the name on the locker means most to me, it's their first time they can undoubtedly say they've had an impact and added to the fabric of this great club and is something individually they can really hang their hat on. Obviously with his resigning my mind was already thinking ahead and hoping he can play majority of next year to notch the milestone, this has put a major dent in that. Least we know he will leave no stone unturned towards his rehab and preparation, he is the type that can make a quick return from a knee if all goes well with no complications. Hopefully this spurs the club on even more throughout this finals series. All the Best 🐖 !!!

MASSIVE LOSS! we need hard at it players like Greenwood who can do a job. He is going to be a huge loss during these finals.

Beating Tigers just got a whole lot harder (if we play them)!
Crisp may have to take on a run with role?

Aish or Shaz to defence but they don't have same physicality. Crisp : run with.
Hard not to be envious of other teams injury lists! Major de ja vu with last year! Good luck Levi.

Playing his best season for us. Real shame.
How you can do an acl and hardly flinch or even limp is beyond me. I was like Gary Lyon on the stretcher when I did mine. Guy is hard as nails.

Really wish this wasn't true.. ruined what was a great win last night. Gotta feel for him and hope he can get back in 8-9 months and have a fast tracked recovery.

I initially thought he didn't seem to have done much damage to it.. was walking fine and what not.

I’ll say it again, we haven’t tagged AT ALL this year. We didn’t tag Dusty in the 2 times we played them this year. You want Crisp to replace a role that this club doesn’t even put anyone out there to play in the first place? Greenwood has been playing Half back ALL YEAR. Not one Tagging job at all.

NO ONE has tagged anyone all year ... Can everyone just get that through their heads??

Someone may be sent to do a job, but we are not going to randomly start tagging in the Grand Final (if we make it).

Melt over lol

Wills on Crouch?

As i’ve said before, we have had players do ‘jobs’, but never an out and out tag. Wills played a role on Crouch, but it wasn’t a traditional tag at all.

Treloar had a job on someone earlier that I can’t remember, but we never assign a player to follow an oppo’s mid every step.
With the interchange numbers we now see I think the role of tagger has largely evolved into what you define as a "job" or others word as a "run with role". The great taggers of yesteryear could also find their own footy, however the main difference is it's impossible to go head to head for the whole match nowadays.

The incident seemed to occur with 1:20 left in the 2nd quarter. Rohan gave Moore a push who ran into the back of Levi's knee. Played the remainder of the quarter out however.

It seems to be a position we have good cover for, but Levi is the kinda tough player we need in finals, big loss and sours a great performance last night.

Greenwood is a real quality person, interviewed by Channel 7 on his way into the club. Stated along the lines of scans confirmed it was an ACL, was feeling good because the club is into a prelim and injuries happen in footy.

Disappointing for him
But as a club we clearly delist him from the senior list, and pick him up as a rookie. You dont waste a primary list spot when you have a guy over 31 with an ACL

I hate to say this but .... Do we keep him on our rookie list? :/ :(

4 days after he signed a one extension? LTI list would me more appropriate and he might even toughen a few of the rehab kids up as well while he is there.
LTI list is still essentually the primary list....you just get to elevate a rookie. If we have players identified its easier to get them through the national draft than to hope they are still avaliable come rookie draft

I didn't realise he'd put pen to paper... Thought it was just agreed upon.
