yeah he had a run with st george in the sydney comp on the weekend. apparently kicked 3 goals and showed a clean pair of heels.

the rumour i heard was that he was brought over so swans could take a look at him.

Will be playing for the Swans Reserves v Sydney Uni on Friday. The Swans in the last 10 years haven't really had a genuine small, crumbing forward so it is an interesting proactive move by the club.

maybe the homesickness story was a convenient excuse for both parties to go their own way? had he been playing in wa this year?

i just don't see that broome will ever reach a size that would allow him to compete seriously in the afl.

I'm pretty sure he can only get smaller from here...

5.2 and distinctly improved as the game went on. They even cleared the forward 50 for him in the 4th quarter to let him face his opponent one out in the goal square. Came flying over the top and took a great mark. His 3rd goal was also memorable, gobbled up the tap and snapped truly all in a matter of a couple of seconds. Definitely has some tricks up his sleeves.
