What is his trade value as an uncontracted fringe player?

Will our 4th rounder (currently #64) get it done?
Noting we don't have a current 3rd rounder, and WB need points for Darcy.

(Yes, i know pick 64 is f all points overall, but its all we got)
Ideally we'd try get slightly more. Once you've done the Cerra trade, you may get a late pick back that you can add to any Young trade, even if we had to send a future 4th your way.

Realistically, he's not worth much more than an early 4th at best.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he was used in a deal to get Ladhams to dogs
For sure, but he'd be steak knives at best unfortunately. Port would still want something decent, and not sure we could realistically offer anything better than a future 2nd (so basically a pick in the 30s) which I doubt they'd be okay with.

Honestly think it would take our future first.
Wouldn't blame them for asking, but given Sam Power adamantly refused to give up any first rounders in the Bruce and Keath trades I'd say it's absolutely guaranteed not to involve our 1st as Ladhams isn't at their level as it is. Port will rightfully turn us down in that scenario

Probably around the mark unless you get something in the 50's

Could it be?

cerra and young to carlton
Pick 25 and 27 to wb
Picks 6 and 17 to freo
Western bulldogs probably need carltons future 3rd as well

You're forgetting you still have to give a pick for Clark lol - unless you're planning on giving us Pick 17, in which case I reluctantly accept your tribute, haha

We're losing Pick 17 in that trade, Young would be the steak knives I guess.

Although AFL article today says Richmond and Adelaide are the most likely destinations for our 1st anyway

Geelong would definitely be interested too IMO, with all the second rounders we'll have post trade period

We lose pick 17 in that.

It's not great
I just edited my original suggestion because I reckon I short changed the dogs. Added in carltons future 3rd. If you can on trade that or your future 2nd for a pick around 40 you will have enough to cover Darcy at pick 2

Looked good in that first game against us.

In my minds eye it was only a couple of years ago, but was actually 2017?

Keen to hear what Bulldog’s supporters thoughts are. Seemed likely - nice ability in the air, good skills for his size. Still only 22.

The Blues need a replacement for Jones long-term, and he’s got a very similar profile.

Weak 1 v 1. He is not the droid you are looking for
