People should be leaving their picks with someone. Seeing as people don't seem to be doing this maybe reducing the time limit for each pick, would give people more incentive to do so.

That's what appealed to me too. His versatility makes him a very attractive package. Wasn't sure how long he'd last and may have panicked a bit. Fair chance I could have gotten him with my 3rd pick, but I really wanted him.

Amos has had him lined up in the 3rd round since August.

That alone convinces me you know very little about the game these days.

I am the first to admit I watched maybe 10 full games in total last season as opposed to 75+ in seasons past. I know very little when it comes to stats and who supposedly had a good season in 2007 but that matters little when everything changes so much from year to year. What does matter is having an eye for talent and I watched enough games in 2007 to form an opinion on who is quality and who is not. What is clear is that there are more ordinary players masquerading as quality in 2008 than any other year since I have been following footy. The Bowden brothers and Motlop brothers are not quality. They are quality VFL players at best.

Agreed Xie. That explains his MPFL fall from gun to struggler. It all started when Duff destroyed him in 2006.

The 2006 MPFL GF was lost due to 6 unforeseen freak injuries that were never supposed to occur.

2007 was a protest season and the only time the Beautifuls have ever missed the finals.

2008 will see a fully fit cameron bruce. Hopefully will take up a utility or midfield position.

I deserved that premiership in 2006 so much it wasn't funny, it would have been cruel if your Beautifuls managed to get up B20.
