I can't say I've been following the case recently, but just to check I've got this right..
Clubs wont look at Garlett, because he might stuff up, but (at least one) will look at a guy who currently has criminal proceedings against him?

Jurrah has played AFL and kicks 2 or 3 a game.
I know. His ability to slice through his opposition is amazing
Not sure if serious. The advantage of a combination between Jurrah and (if he reaches anywhere near his full potential) Butcheris that a lot of clubs don't have one player who is capable of going with both of them athletically AND aerially, let alone two. Plonk a properly developed Mason Shaw in the goalsquare to clunk long balls and to lead when the opportunity arises (Schulz will play that role in the meantime, and if his form when fit this season is any indication he'll play it very well) and let Butcher and Jurrah run riot around the 50, and very few teams would be able to stop that forward line.
Not sure if serious.
Would that forwardline even worry the likes of GWS three years from now?
I doubt it.

Jurrah was still as soft as butter and lazy without the ball.
Amazing how a player's reputation grows after being out of the game for some time.
Andrew Krakouer spent time behind bars and was able to get a second chance so it is theoretically possible that Jurrah could get another chance if the court case doesn't end well. That's pretty harsh but there is an element of truth to it. Amazingly talented however his defensive game wasn't great, opposition teams generally used Jurrah's player to run the ball out of defense.
Regardless, I hope his AFL journey doesn't stop now, it would be a great shame. However, if he is found guilty of the charges is there any place for him in the AFL?

In that scenario it would all depend on whether a club would be willing to take the risk.
True, however Krakouer wasn't found guilty of wielding a machete.
Neither has Jurrah been.
