You're a tanking rabble and now an insider confirms it. You're a disgrace. Libba might have been a dirty player but as a footballer he gave it all for the Bulldogs, and he's not used to working in an environment when you're throwing games like your disgraceful team are.

Your comments are complete rubbish, if you look at the facts of Libba comments they were all very general comments which confirms nothing, everyone knows they played young players for future development, well this has been going on for 20 years+ that clubs assess their list coming up to the end of the season to ascertain if any of younger players have a long term future.

The second point Walker, Fisher,Thornton,Fev all had operations e.g some Walker still have problems, Fev missed two months of pre season, don't see anything of significance in these comments.

Third point Carlton had a very ordinary list of players, suddenly after years of poor performances they are capable of beating any team they meet, l would suggest the teams that beat Carlton would better teams.

Four point how much monetary reward did Libba receive for his comments, l would suggest all his comments are general without being specific at all.

Yes I fully understand that but please tell me if Judd chose carlton and they finished in say 10th or 11th spot, what could they possible have offered the eagles to have satisfied them? I would guess a Marc Murphy would have been on the table? The eagles would have let him go to the preseason draft for nothing or would have only dealt with teams near the bottom. It wasn't just about what Judd wanted. At the end of the day, he's a blue and that's the end of it.

Are you trying to say that Judd would have never wanted to come to Carlton unless we had the bits and pieces to secure him? It's been done.

Forgive me if wrong here, but as was suggested in Hutchy's insightful piece, why is a direct correlation always made between Carlton tanking and the attaining of Chris Judd.

As far as I'm aware, we traded West Coast pick 3, pick 20 and Josh Kennedy. If we'd won the last game, I'm sure we still wouldn't have hesitated in traded pick 2, pick 20 and Josh Kennedy to West Coast for Judd.

Sure, we wouldn't have had the first pick as well, but I'm sure we still would've sacrificed our first-rounder for Judd.

If we had won the last game, we wouldn't have got the priority pick and would have been left with pick 2. The insinuation is that with just pick 2, we would have been in a much weaker position to chase Judd.

At the end of the day, I think we're kidding ourselves if the club didn't take advantage of the system. I'm not saying for a minute that we actively threw games, but there is no doubt that there was no reason to win and the kids got played.

Thats the business and anyone who thinks their team wouldn't have done the same thing is kidding themselves.

As for Libba, his musings were about as insightful as most of the posts on Bigfooty. He talked in generalities and a lot of it was rubbish. After saying he thought we weren't trying to win, he went on to say that another coach may see it as examining the list for next year.
