Yep, was asking if we can bring him back with our current injuries, any thoughts ? I guess there i bower to come in first - but he is shorter and, well - poppy.

Just can't see any more games being put into him this year, as it's time to start to consolidating our mix.

Irrespective of what many may say here, Bower will still be high on the radar for a return leading into finals.
Austin had a good game on the weekend (haven't seen it personally) and given a few quality matches with the Ants, who knows?

To the subject of our depth, when judd roved the ruck contest in our forward line and kicked that great goal did everyone notice mitch jumped and tapped it down to him, i only saw judd and eddie go up and pat him on the back and i dont think even some players noticed....

We've shown glimpses of that for the last few years. It's just finally coming together consistently and we are actually working just as hard going the other way with our tackling and pressure. Not to mention half the side is in career best form. It's not just Judd and Murphy, it's guys who's futures we've speculated about for the last few years on here - Walker, Ellard, Robinson, Yarran etc. It's the even spread that's really made the difference.

Main board has been buzzing about us for a month at least. Journalists are clambering on to the bandwagon so fast you'd think someone had stashed Miss Duthie aboard. Collingwood fans are afraid of us again.

Lot of Collingwood supporters up and about in these Carlton threads, appears they don;t like the lime light taken away, new kids on the block are just slightly annoying.

You want facts, go check your record against Carlton in finals, more importantly Grand Finals....forget abuot the limelight, that will really send you into a tail spin.

this thread is exactly the ones we saw on our pies board last year and that turned out pretty well for us. i for one hope you boys do well theres nothing i'd rather see more than a collingwood v carlton grand final.. it would be an enourmous moment! good luck mortal enemies

I knew that post would get a reaction. Only serves to prove my point. Collingwood fans are afraid of us because they see us as a threat, and no matter the bravado they use to cover up this insecurity it only magnifies it.

The most refreshing thing on BF is when a supporter is honest about their teams position. Collingwood fans who realize that they are not unbeatable certainly fall into this category, although as Collingwood fans this just makes them the best of a bad lot.

I personally think West Coast are a bigger threat than Carlton. I doubt anyone in the Collingwood FC sees Carlton as a threat, even though Mick will come out during the week and praise Carlton like he does most weeks when talking up opposition.
